One of the Cookery Schools Chef friends Brett is hosting this particular course - Brett  'The Pastry King' is a South African born pastry chef with an impressive array of experience. Desserts & Pastry are  Brett’s passion which he would love to share with you.

The course starts with a coffee and a chat with the chef about the evening ahead, and then it’s through to the kitchens for demonstrations of the desserts you'll be cooking. Next it’s time to roll up your sleeves get on an apron, learn new skills and enjoy replicating the dishes under Bretts’s expert instruction. Classes are fun and informal and when the dishes are completed you can then retire to the dining room to enjoy the fruits of your labour with a glass of wine.

Brett will start by demonstrating some classic pastry making such as rough puff pastry sweet tart. A chocolate dessert and some chocolate truffles. At the end you will have created range desserts and a bag of truffles.

This is a half day class from 10am - 1pm.
